Alnwick is famous for its castle and stunning gardens. The town dates back to around AD 600, and over the centuries has thrived thanks to its success in the agricultural industry. The town now boasts a number of well stocked shops and a playhouse, which holds various types of events in the fields of theatre, dance, music gigs and cinema.

This Alnwick bed and breakfast is also a great base from which to explore the rest of Northumberland, which offers stunning coastal scenery and plenty of towns and villages to visit. The historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed is well worth a visit and it just a short car drive away.
Roseworth is on the A1068 (coastal route) and is set in a beautiful location. The house is covered in Virginia creeper and roses. You can enjoy the gardens from the summer house where you can sit on those long hot summer evenings.

Our large prize winning gardens (many times winners in Alnwick in Bloom summer and spring garden competitions), also include a pond with water feature, lilies etc. In the summer you will see lovely herbaceous borders, rose beds, tubs and containers. In the spring time, daffodils, tulips, primulas, and late spring clematis.

The Roseworth has three rooms: two double en suite and one twin/double with a private bathroom. All three of our rooms have tea, coffee trays, colour TV, double glazed windows and central heating. We are sure that you will find your room to be tastefully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Prices start from £60 per room per night and includes breakfast.
We have a four poster bed, (en-suite) for that special occasion. This room is ideal for honeymoons or anniversaries. There is also a twin/double with a private bathroom across the landing. You will not find a more welcoming and comfortable Alnwick bed and breakfast.

Each morning Ann serves a good hearty Northumbrian breakfast to start your day. There is of course a choice of breakfast menu. You won't find a more delicious start to your day.
